Regional was asked to create the interiors for the new Holiday Inn Express in Managua, Nicaragua. The project was to be geared towards young business people on the move, and was to reflect a sense of coolness to contrast with Managua’s hot weather.

The project was conceived as a series of interconnected spaces to serve different functions. The connection would be insinuated through hung bamboo paneled ceilings and floor textures.  Lounging areas would be housed underneath these architectural gestures.
